About Me
Hi, this is Jessie Song.
I'm a 2D animator. My story with drawing began back in elementary school. Before sixth grade, I neither knew how to draw nor had any real interest in it. But my deskmate in sixth grade loved drawing My Little Pony, and since I also enjoyed watching it at the time, we happily started creating our own OCs (original characters) together.
During the summer vacation, I enrolled in a professional art training course, where I began learning sketching and color theory. That was when I truly set foot on my artistic journey. In my spare time, I enjoy creating fan art. My favorite work back then was Natsume’s Book of Friends, and I made many fan pieces related to the main character.
When I entered high school, I watched even more anime, and Bungo Stray Dogs had the deepest influence on me. I was fascinated by the main character Dazai Osamu’s personality changes, and I wanted to express that through animation. That led to the creation of my very first animation. After finishing it, I received positive feedback from my friends and family, and I realized how fun animation could be—how magical it felt to see a character move under my pen!
Even now, I still carry that same passion in my heart, hoping to bring joy to others through my art.
